Stiftung Ordnungspolitik
The foundation fosters ordo-liberal principles such as freedom, free market economy, competition, social progress and democracy in Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.
It endeavours to further develop the ordo-liberal branch of economic science, which was originally founded by Walter Eucken, further refined by Friedrich August Hayek and put into political practice by Ludwig Erhard.
The foundation was established in December 1999 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Walter Eucken’s death. Since then, a large number of personalities from politics and academics as well as other decision makers visited us to discuss topics and actual problems of German and European economic policy.
